About Ready or Not :

Los Sueños – The LSPD reports a major increase in violent crime in the Los Sueños area. SWAT teams have been deployed to handle dangerous situations like hostage crises, bomb threats, and barricaded suspects. Citizens are advised to be careful when traveling or to stay home.

Despite Los Sueños being seen as a place of opportunity, many people find it harder to achieve a good quality of life. “The city is filled with crowded high-rise apartments and decaying affordable housing, exploited by criminals like a parasite,” says Chief Galo Álvarez. “In a city where people are just trying to survive, the LSPD and SWAT team are essential in keeping society from falling apart.”

To combat the rise in violent crime, Chief Álvarez has appointed David ‘Judge’ Beaumont as the Commander of the SWAT team. The LSPD is also recruiting new members for this specialized unit to help restore peace in the city.

“This job is not for the faint-hearted,” says Commander Beaumont. “Extremists, corrupt politicians, numerous weapons, human trafficking, and illegal drugs are some of the harsh realities you’ll face. You must navigate these challenges within the law, or risk making things worse.”

The LSPD has released new details about Commander Beaumont’s updated role with the SWAT team:

Whether you’re new to Los Sueños or not, the city and our methods have changed. Familiar places have been reimagined, and we approach each call with new strategies. We’ve identified at least four new high-risk districts and four existing ones that have seen major changes, all needing possible future tactical interventions.

Take Command:
As the SWAT Commander, you’ll build your team from a diverse roster with unique skills, give tactical orders, plan missions carefully, and ensure your team’s mental and physical health. Officers struggling mentally may not perform well or might even quit. Injured officers can be temporarily out of action, and death is a permanent loss. Your own fatal mistakes can also lead to permanent consequences.

SWAT Team Quality Enhancement:
Improved training and tactics have boosted the quality and number of officers. Enhanced versatility means our team can handle any challenge with confidence, blending coordination and independence. Basic training is also updated to keep skills sharp.

Equipment and Customization:
We have access to the best weapons and gear, including new acquisitions. Customization isn’t limited to equipment. By performing well with your team, you’ll earn unique clothing, patches, tattoos, and even a special watch. Our headquarters’ training facilities have been upgraded to better test our gear before missions.
