Meet Joey
In MonCon, you play as Joey, a young teen with social anxiety. Joey attends MonCon hoping to meet his hero, legendary game designer Mr. Miyashiro, and get his autograph.
For Joey, talking to people feels like battling monsters. Ordinary people appear as terrifying creatures that he must verbally fight. With a psychedelic, rhythm-based battle system, Joey will face many monstrous personalities – at least, that’s how it seems to him.
Joey isn’t alone. With the help of Karl, a lively geek, and Marnie, a passionate podcaster, Joey will start overcoming his social fears and learn that not everyone is a monster.

Will I meet Mr. Miyashiro?
Mr. Miyashiro will sign autographs in the morning. If you miss him, meet other celebrity game designers who will also be happy to greet you!
Is playing Run Boy 3D guaranteed?
We hope everyone gets a turn, but VR helmets are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Is virtual reality safe?
Mondoton’s VR helmet is extensively tested and approved by many health and safety organizations. The only thing to fear in Run Boy 3D are the virtual monsters!
Will Mondoton’s main competitor attend?
Sadagemu, Mondoton’s competitor, will not attend this year’s event despite an invitation. Their founder has declined to comment.
